Chris is a Senior Principal Engineer for BMT (the developers of TUFLOW) with over 20 years’ experience in the field of flood and stormwater modelling and floodplain management. He is currently part of the leadership team for TUFLOW hydraulic modelling software. Chris has lectured in hydraulic modelling at Central Queensland University (2018–2022) and served as Chair of the Hydraulics Scientific Committee for Engineers Australia’s Hydrology and Water Resources Symposium in 2022.

Before joining TUFLOW, Chris led numerous flood risk and stormwater management studies across Queensland, New South Wales, and California. His consulting work spanned infrastructure design, flood mitigation, land-use planning, and emergency response, helping communities and governments make informed decisions about resilience and safety.
