About

It is common practice to design and implement surface water quality treatment devices across catchments to mitigate the impacts of pollutants generated by urban or other land development. Robust numerical assessment of these systems’ efficacies has historically been plagued by limitations in associated software platforms. A new numerical modelling platform that overcomes these limitations - TUFLOW CATCH- is presented. It allows for the seamless simulation of the whole of system benefits and performance of these devices at highly temporally and spatially resolved scales, and a case study is shared to demonstrate this capability.
