Matt has over five years of experience in hydrology and water resources modelling. Since graduating from the University of Melbourne in 2013, Matt has been heavily involved in the ongoing development of the RORB hydrologic model and the associated ArcGIS plugin ArcRORB.
Matt has experience in a range of hydrologically complex projects, including portfolio risk assessment for the Snowy Hydro dams and assessment of extreme rainfall probabilities for storages in both Victoria and Queensland. Matt is also skilled at analysis of computationally intensive datasets, which was demonstrated in his work applying the SoilFlux model to generate state-wide estimates of evapotranspiration.
Matt is confident in both software programming and geospatial analysis, and often combines the two through application of the GDAL library. He is proficient in many programming languages, including .NET, Python and Fortran.
