The Department for Environment and Water will share the results of prior consultations and discuss how this is informing proposed changes to legislation to facilitate improvements to the State’s Water Register.

Key components of the reform that will be discussed include:

  • registration of security interests
  • caveats
  • an improved Water Register search facility
  • improvements to transactional services offered on DEW’s licensing system
