Water in Coal Mining
The course will promote an exchange of knowledge between regulatory agencies and coal mining project proponents. It will address legislation changes regarding Aquifer Interference regulations and policy. The course focuses on regulatory matters, surface water methods and groundwater assessment. It will build expertise in
minesite hydrology (surface water and groundwater) and state-of-art approaches to water management and environmental assessment.
