The latest release of HEC-RAS Version 6.1 incorporates a new Riprap Calculator that applies the USACE method for designing stable riprap based on hydraulic results.

Standard riprap sizing approaches in Austroads and ARR manuals refer to guidance that has been superseded in the meantime by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers method.

Join us for this webinar in which Krey Price traces the ancestry of Australian riprap sizing methods and provides recommended approaches for incorporating the latest guidance, and Stanford Gibson, sediment transport specialist for the USACE Hydrologic Engineering Center, demonstrates the new interface.
