About

This webinar will describe the concept and project development stages of the bedrock exploration program delivered under WaterSmart Farms. This will include:
• the history of groundwater exploration and bedrock groundwater in the WA Wheatbelt
• the geophysical approach and systems (geophysics) around bedrock groundwater
• exploration methodology development, including the use of high resolution ground magnetics and the dyke model
• the project stages, partnerships, funding and delivery model

While this webinar focuses on the WA case study, the concepts, exploration methods and lessons learned are highly relevant to water-scarce agricultural regions around the world seeking to unlock new groundwater resources.

This is part 1 of 3 of the Bedrock Groundwater in Western Australia series.
