AWS is thrilled to present our first premium webinar exploring latest innovations and industry insights in water modelling!

Building on the content presented in our free webinar on AI tools for modelling innovation, this premium webinar allows attendees to step through the process of generating your own model input files with AI assistance. Our expert presenters will provide you with the necessary tools to allow you to undertake segmenting processes in real time with your own model.

Whether you use TUFLOW, HEC-RAS, FLO-2D, MIKE FLOOD, Flood Modeller, RORB, HEC-HMS, or any other water modelling software, this webinar is designed to provide practical tools in an interactive learning session.

Webinar Outline

This 2-hour premium webinar provides a structured and comprehensive learning experience.

This webinar is for anyone spending precious hours manually delineating land use, buildings, roads, stream banks, or other features for flood models, why not let AI be your new assistant?

No prior experience or setup necessary, only a Google account to follow along using cloud GPU’s.

Attendees will access custom scripts that allow you to automate the process of delineating hydrologic and hydraulic features from aerial or satellite imagery. An example of the Segment Anything model for generating structure polygons will be shown using a Google Colab notebook to help you integrate Machine Learning libraries into your toolbox.

Attendees will apply tools to interrogate digital elevation models and other terrain data to identify a range of hydraulically relevant features. You will generate break lines along roadways, levees, buildings, waterways, and catchment divides that can be imported into hydrologic and hydraulic models.
