Nicola Fry

Nicola is a Sydney based hydrogeologist with EMM Consulting Pty Limited, and previously worked at AGL Energy on their eastern Australian coal seam gas projects. She holds an Honours degree in geology and chemistry from the ANU and a Master’s in engineering studies, majoring in hydrogeology and groundwater management, from the UTS and is currently studying a Master’s of Science Communication through the ANU. Prior to her current role, Nicola spent 2 years on development aid projects in the small island developing state of Tonga. During her time in Tonga, Nicola worked with the local government developing water policy, collecting and communicating water quality data, and capacity building the local staff. Her role was supported by AusAID and the Fijian based SOPAC. Previously, Nicola was based in Canberra at FrOG Tech for 5 years working as a geologist on oil and gas projects around the globe.
