Dr Nicky Grigg is a Senior Research Scientist at CSIRO Land and Water, where she works on projects concerned with global change and our responses to it. She brings experience in mathematical modelling and analysis of social-ecological systems, and likes the opportunity to address challenging questions that benefit from diverse teams of people who bring multiple perspectives. Current and recent projects she has worked on include: the development and application of a resilience, adaptation and transformation assessment framework for sustainability projects; interdisciplinary river basin analyses in South Asia; and projects exploring alternative futures for Australia through scenario and modelling analysis, including explorations of Australia’s vulnerability to natural hazards, and characterising societal benefits from water management.
