Mark is Stantec’s Practice Lead for Dams and Hydropower in ANZ with over 30 years’ experience in the planning, design and project management of dam and hydropower projects throughout the world. Mark has been involved in schemes ranging from 2.4 MW in a remote area of Indonesia to a 2,590 MW cascade scheme on the White Nile in South Sudan. In 2017, Mark was seconded to Snowy Hydro as the Study Director for the Snowy 2.0 Feasibility Study. Mark continues to support private clients to investigate, plan and advise on various pumped storage projects in Australia. He is a contributing member of the International Forum on Pumped Storage Hydropower Working Group focussed on highlighting the latest PSH technological developments.
