Kurt Smithgall

Kurt Smithgall is a CFD Engineer with Alden with experience across a variety of numerical models to solve complex flow problem. Kurt has a Masters Degree from Penn State University. In his work, he primarily focusses on open channel flow / river engineering problems.

Kurt is an avid kayaker with design experience in whitewater course design, fish passage, and stream restoration design. Kurt creates striking visuals with rendered numerical model results.
