Course information

Live training

The Australian Water School holds live online training courses throughout the year. Attendees can access the course as a live attendee, or if the timezone does not align, recordings are available on the AWS learning platform within 2 working days. Course expiry dates are in red in an attendees dashboard.

On-demand training

We often convert the live training to an on-demand format. On-demand courses are a copy of the live course with access from 30 days to 4 months as soon as payment is made (payment method options below). The material and recordings are available for repeat viewing, as many times as needed during the access period. Course expiry dates are in red in attendee dashboards.

How do I pay for a Course?

Payments can be made directly through the Learning Management System (LMS) (preferred) or by invoice (**Note: an administration fee of $50.00 applies for all invoice requests).

Course fees are in AUD.

• PayPal, our preferred payment method | instant course access:
  • Find your course from the website.
  • Select Register | Pay by Card | continue to register.
  • Login or sign up to the LMS.
  • Follow the PayPal Guest Checkout payment process.
  • Your course access begins instantly.

• Invoice, if required before payment: **Note: administration fee of AUD $50.00 applies
  • Find your course from the website, select Register | Pay by Invoice.
  • Fill out the invoice request form (if multiple attendees include their details).
  • Select 1 of 2 payment options:
    • Option 1: Bank transfer (available to Australian attendees only).
    • Option 2: PayPal (available to all attendees, both Australian and International). AWS staff will generate an invoice in PayPal; attendees click the link to pay via Credit card as Guest: no PayPal account required.
  • Submit | We will email your invoice.
  • Once payment is received, attendees are enrolled and notified.

Certificate of attendance

Attendees are issued with a Certificate of Completion upon completion of the Final Survey which is automatically emailed.

What’s included in the course fees?

• Presenters and course content are delivered by experienced and highly regarded water professionals;
• Ability to ask questions to the presenters at anytime through the learning platform;
• All sessions are recorded and uploaded to a learning platform to view as many times in the allocated time;
• PDF course manual/s;
• Exercises to consolidate learnings if the course is multiple sessions;
• Access all the course materials for up to a month after the course.

Continuing Professional Development (CPD) Points

All AWS courses are eligible for claiming CPD hours with Engineers Australia, under Type 2 of the guidelines available here.

Webinar information

Certificate of Participation

Attendees at Webinars who participate in the live streaming will be issued with a Certificate of Participation approximately 2 business days after the live webinar. A link to the Webinar recording is available in this email sent to attendees 2 business days after the webinar.

AWS Webinars are recorded, and available on our Website under Watch Past Webinars, and our YouTube channel within 2 business days of live streaming.
