Cancellations, Refunds and Extensions

We understand that circumstances may change which can influence your ability to attend a course you have enrolled in and paid for. Should your attendance plans change the following will apply:

Transfer of Registration (Name Change)

A substitute attendee can be nominated to take your place at any time for no additional cost and for a/all course registration(s). Please advise us of the name change by emailing training@awschool.com.au

Cancellations

We reserve the right to cancel or modify courses, dates, times, venues and speakers in the event of low registrations and circumstances beyond our control. In the event of such a cancellation, a full refund to attendees will be made.

All live course cancellation requests must be advised in writing by email to training@awschool.com.au. Cancellation requests made 5 or more working days prior to the live course start date will receive a course fee refund, minus administrative, transaction and merchant fees. Cancellation requests made 4 or less working days prior to the course start date are not eligible for a refund however registrations are transferable: refer to Transfer of Registration.

The cancellation policy is applicable to all live courses and does not apply to on-demand courses and FREE webinars.

Refunds

If under exceptional circumstances you are unable to continue with your course registration, please submit a refund request in writing to training@awschool.com.au. Management will consider all refund requests on a case-by-case basis and may provide a discretionary refund.

Course Payment and Registration

All course payments must be received prior to the live course commencement date.

In the event of a Training Series, payment must be received prior to the first in the series, unless prior arrangements have been made and agreed upon. If you are in a payment plan and we do not receive payments as per the invoice payment schedule, your access will be revoked to the entire course until payment has been received by us.

We reserve the right to deactivate your account and access to all live courses if you are unable to demonstrate proof of payment prior to the course commencement date.

We reserve the right to deactivate users entry to a course if there is a demonstration of inappropriate behaviour in an online environment. The attendee will forfeit their course registration fee. No course admittance will be reinstated.

Course Extensions

Attendees who seek extensions for course(s) or series, are required to request in writing via the Learning Platform or emailing training@awschool.com.au

Extensions are generally accepted (for up to 30 days/4 weeks) and will incur an administration fee of $50 for 1 course and $120 for a training series.

One extension will be granted per fee as outlined in the table below. Extensions will be granted to attendees after payment has been received and the learning platform will be updated with the new expiration date.

Subsequent extension requests will incur additional and the same fee, up to 2 extension requests. No further extensions will be granted after 2 requests.
