Zara Lowien

Zara was recently appointed as CEO of the National Irrigators’ Council after more than a decade working with the local irrigation organisation in the Gwydir Valley, where she lives. Zara has a demonstrated history of working in the agriculture and natural resources with a focus on public policy. Skilled in Policy development, Analytics, Government Relations, Team Building, Public Speaking, and Management. Worked with and on boards and advisory roles and is currently completing the Company Directors focused in Company Directors Course from Australian Institute of Company Directors.
