Onno Ebbens graduated from TU Delft in 2015 in Water Management. For his masters thesis, he looked at the use of time series analysis for the calibration of regional groundwater models at Deltares and applied this to the Azure model. In addition, during his studies, he obtained his qualification as a mathematics teacher through an educational minor. After his studies, Onno started working as a geohydrologist at Witteveen+Bos. There he contributed to the design of a Scheldt tunnel in Antwerp (Oosterweel connection) and a Room for the River project commissioned by the Grensmaas Consortium.

At Artesia, Onno works on geohydrological projects and frequently uses groundwater models (Modflow) and time series analysis (Pastas) for his analysis. His experience with programming in Python comes in handy here. In addition to his work at Artesia, Onno also teaches Python programming courses. The combination of education and substantive depth suits him well.
