Michael Donn

Mike is a Senior Experimental Scientist with CSIRO and has 18 years’ experience as an environmental chemist in the agriculture and environment sectors. Since joining CSIRO in 2006 he has applied his biogeochemical expertise to assess processes influencing groundwater and surface water quality. Since 2012 Mike has been involved with a number of managed aquifer recharge research projects largely focusing on assessment of the geochemical impacts on infiltration and injection of treated wastewater into the superficial and confined aquifers in Perth. More recently Mike has been involved in the assessment of the potential for MAR to support industry in the Kwinana area contributing to a regional scale pre-feasibility study. He is currently involved in MAR projects associated with Groundwater Replenishment, assessment wastewater disposal through infiltration and further MAR feasibility studies in the Kwinana area.
