Marti Beeston
Marti Beeston is a water sector professional based in Goondiwindi, Qld, with experience across the Northern Murray–Darling Basin, working at the intersection of research and industry. With a strong focus on cotton-growing regions, Marti has spent several years supporting locally informed water management, collaborating closely with irrigators, industry groups, and regional communities.
Through roles with the Murray–Darling Basin Authority and the One Basin CRC, Marti has contributed to projects that improve how water is shared, valued, and managed across catchments, ensuring communities and industry have access to research outcomes grounded in practical engagement, reflecting on-the-ground realities and supporting resilient rural communities.
