Justin Carpenter

Justin is the Manager, Resource Sector Regulation and Support, within the Environmental Services and Regulation Division of Queensland’s Department of Environment and Heritage Protection. Justin has experience in a range of water resource and environmental management policy, implementation and planning roles within the Queensland Government. He currently leads a team that supports the continual improvement of the Division’s administration of its environmental legislative responsibilities – particularly applications and assessments under the Environmental Protection Act in relation to resources activities. This team also has important responsibilities related to administering the underground water impact management framework that applies to the petroleum and gas sector.
