Paul is a Principal Coastal Engineer with over 20 years’ experience in hydrodynamic and coastal process modelling. Paul was the lead numerical modeller for several Environmental Impact Statement projects, including the Townsville Port Expansion Project EIS and the Port of Gladstone Gatcombe and Golding Cutting Channel Duplication Project EIS.

Paul’s main area of expertise is in numerical modelling of coastal processes including ocean waves, tidal hydrodynamics, dredge plume advection/dispersion, and coastal sediment transport. He has an honours undergraduate degree in Civil Engineering (2000) and a PhD in Coastal Engineering (2010), both through the University of Queensland.
