David is an associate of HARC, and has nearly 15 years experience in design flood hydrology, hydraulic modelling and dam safety risk assessment.

David’s professional experience started with the Bureau of Meteorology, where he worked as a flood forecaster for two years.  Following this, he joined SKM and Jacobs, where he was responsible for delivering a large range of flood hydrology and dam break modelling studies for a range of government and industry clients.

David is an experienced one and two dimensional hydraulic modeller, and is also proficient in GIS.  He is familiar with software coding and has played a key role in the ongoing development of packages such as RORBwin and REALM.  David is currently forming a committee to develop a practice note on dambreak modelling and consequence assessment for ANCOLD.
