Bruce Naumann is the Manager of the Salisbury Water Business Unit at the City of Salisbury. Salisbury is widely recognized as a leader in urban storm water harvesting and Managed Aquifer Recharge (MAR) with 63 MAR wells and an extensive ‘purple’ piping network supplying over 600 community and commercial customers with ‘fit for purpose’ water. Bruce has a Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering and completed post-graduate studies in Environmental Management. His initial experience was as a project engineer in the mining and minerals processing industries for 7 years prior to joining Michell, Australia’s largest wool processor. Bruce then had a 2 year contract with the SA EPA, before joining the City Projects Team at the City of Salisbury, where he leads a small team in the implementation of new stormwater harvesting projects and the construction of an extensive recycled water piping network throughout the City of Salisbury.
