ICE WaRM Welcomes European Union Delegation

ICE WaRM hosted a high-level European Union delegation, focusing on exchange opportunities for students and researchers in Australia and Europe.
The delegation, led by Bodo Richter – who manages cooperation projects with Australia at the European Commission (EC) – along with Richard Wade, Rachel McCarthy and Lynne Hunter, briefed senior representatives of Adelaide-based universities on opportunities for cooperation and exchanges with European educational institutions.More than 20 people attended the briefing, including two Dutch students currently in Adelaide studying under the SWaRM Graduate Mobility project. This exchange program offers students and researchers at ICE WaRM’s five partner universities five or ten month exchanges at three leading water studies universities in Europe – the University of Dundee in Scotland, the Technical University of Delft in The Netherlands and the Technical University of Dresden in Germany.
