Fabio Polesel
Fabio is Team Lead for Wastewater Treatment at DHI and is based in Hørsholm, Denmark. He specialises in wastewater treatment processes, process modelling, digital twins, real-time control, and optimisation of wastewater treatment plants. Fabio combines advanced process modelling with AI-driven approaches to support utilities and industries in improving treatment performance, reducing operational costs, and meeting increasingly stringent environmental requirements. He is actively involved in DHI’s research and innovation activities, including the development of next-generation digital solutions for wastewater treatment and resource recovery.
