Carlos Rivera Villarreyes

Dr. Carlos Rivera Villarreyes is the Global Product Specialist and Business Owner for FEFLOW at the DHI Group. With more than 15 years of experience in subsurface numerical modelling, he works across the full modelling workflow, from conceptual and geological modelling to advanced parameter estimation and uncertainty analysis.

Carlos has applied these approaches across a wide range of sectors, including mining, geothermal energy, groundwater resources, water quality, and vadose zone hydrology. He has led numerous groundwater modelling projects worldwide and regularly trains professionals in advanced modelling techniques, helping organizations build confidence in their simulations and decision-making.
