Groundwater is critical for sustainable development. It is a huge water resource that the majority of the global population depends on. This webinar looks at the present situation of groundwater in a global context, focusing on longstanding as well as emerging challenges and hotspots around the world. Karen will also discuss requirements for building the necessary thrust for addressing groundwater more concertedly in order to achieve sustainable development.

Setting the scene, this is the first webinar in a series with Groundwater Solutions Initiative for Policy and Practice (GRIPP) and NCGRT.
