Will Minchin

Will is a Hydrogeologist at HydroSimulations. He has 10 years’ experience in consultancy, primarily as a groundwater modeller, in Australia, the UK and Canada. His interests are the analysis and simulation of stream-aquifer interaction, rainfall-recharge estimation, and the use of GIS to describe hydrogeology. Will has worked on a variety of projects, from large scale whole-of-catchment studies and mine EIS and smaller models for civil applications, to modifying existing grand using recharge and groundwater models to describe plausible scenarios of drought in water supply aquifers. Will has experience with several of the popular MODFLOW suite of software, a number of soil moisture packages, as well as in using simple water balance models for groundwater and surface water problems.
