Wayne Ellis is a highly experienced operations leader with a background in operational and supply chain management spanning 25 years. Currently, Wayne is the General Manager at Duxton Vineyards. Duxton Vineyards is the largest certified member of Sustainable Winegrowing Australia. In his role, Wayne is responsible for the safe sustainable management of +2,400 Hectares of wine grapes in the Mildura and Sunraysia district, as well as the Duxton 80,000 tonne winery (previously Stanley winery).

Wayne brings extensive experience across a wide range of industry sectors including wine, project management, supply chain management and operational management in the electronics industry. In his previous role at Accolade Wines, Wayne was responsible for overseeing the Accolade’s supply chain and operations across Australia and New Zealand. This included the company’s extensive grape growing and sourcing platform with more than 850 growers across the country, and overseeing operations at the Southern Hemisphere’s largest grape processor, Berri Estates winery. Prior to Accolade Wines, Wayne was the project lead on the $45 million state-of-the-art bottling and distribution centre that opened in the Riverland in early 2019. Wayne also holds a Bachelor of Applied Management and a Trade Qualification as a vehicle mechanic.
