Seonaid Philip has been a soil scientist with CSIRO for the last 10 years and prior to that 21 years with the Queensland Government based in Mareeba. Seonaid has extensive experience with traditional soil survey methods as well as digital soil mapping methods. She has broad experience in remote soils field work, spatial data analysis, information management, natural resource management, suitability assessment and landscape modelling both with government and natural resource sectors. Seonaid led the soils and land suitability component of the CSIRO Bradfield Scheme Assessment.
