Dr. Reihaneh Bandari is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the University of Melbourne, working on the One Basin CRC Irrigation Decarbonisation Project. Her research explores sustainable transitions in agricultural systems, with a particular focus on socio-economic and environmental dimensions. She employs system modelling and collaborative approaches to assess strategies for sustainability under future uncertainties, emphasising system interactions and cross-sector dynamics.

She holds a PhD in Sustainability Science from Deakin University, a Master of Science in Water Resources Engineering, and a Bachelor of Science in Irrigation Engineering. Dr. Reihaneh Bandari has over nine years of academic and professional experience in sustainability science and water resources engineering across universities, research institutes, and consultancies. Before joining the University of Melbourne, she was a Postdoctoral Fellow at CSIRO, where she contributed to the Sustainability Pathways Program.
