Lars Gustafsson
Lars has a PhD in urban hydrology and more than 40 years of professional experience addressing challenges in urban drainage and water management. He is a Principal Engineer for Water in Cities at DHI and the Business Owner of DHI CityFlow Live, based in Sweden.
Throughout his career, he has managed and moderated numerous research, development, and innovation projects on water environments and has led advisory assignments in more than 15 countries worldwide. Lars combines deep technical expertise with extensive experience in digital solutions for monitoring, analysing, and optimising water and wastewater systems. He plays a key role in the development and market growth of DHI CityFlow Live, helping utilities use data-driven insights to improve operational performance and support smarter decision-making.
