Jill Fagan
Dr Jill Fagan is a water sector leader with two decades of experience in climate change, research and integrated water management, currently serving as Manager, Infrastructure Strategy and Planning at North East Water after senior roles at the Department of Energy, Environment and Climate Action, WSAA, and Melbourne Water. She led over 70 stakeholder organisations to develop the first-ever National Urban Water Research Strategy, chaired the national Water Research Access Portal initiative, and initiated the Melbourne Water Industry Climate Change Committee. She holds a Bachelor of Chemical Engineering, a Bachelor of Arts, and a PhD from the University of Melbourne, where she built a computer model to assess innovations in water, wastewater and stormwater systems.
