Dr Haylo Roberts is a molecular geneticist at EnviroDNA. Haylo grew up with a love of wildlife and a fascination for how things work. Throughout his studies Haylo has obtained a diverse array of molecular techniques and bioinformatic skills which he brings to the role as EnviroDNA Molecular Geneticist.

Previously Haylo completed a Bachelor of Biosciences at La Trobe University, majoring in microbiology and biochemistry. He then pursued an Honours research project on vaccine development for Psittacine Beak and Feather disease. Currently, Haylo is completing a PhD on evolutionary genomics of Wolbachia – a prominent bacterium found in many arthropod and nematode species.
