With over a decade of experience across the full range of hydrological data and modelling lifecycle, Giancarlo brings a rare combination of technical depth, operational insight, and leadership capability. Spanning a career across field hydrology, real-time forecasting, hydrological and hydrodynamic modelling city planning and for infrastructure design, and management of multidisciplinary teams in high-stakes environments. Giancarlo has led national scale projects, supported emergency operations during record flood and drought events, and driven innovation in data systems and modelling frameworks. He has led stakeholder engagement across government and industry, translating complex technical information into actionable insights for decision making aligning operational delivery with strategic goals.
