Gavin has nearly 20 years of experience applying water balance techniques across the resources sector, spanning a wide range of commodities, geographies, project stages, and scales. His experience includes both consulting and owner-operator roles, providing a balanced perspective on the practical application of water balance tools and processes.

His current work focuses on enabling teams to deliver high-quality, practical solutions across Rio Tinto’s operations, including the effective use of water balances to support holistic site water management and operational decision-making.
