Edwin is a Drainage Asset Engineer with the City of Gold Coast (CoGC). He is responsible for the asset management of the City’s Flood Mitigation & Drainage Assets (including stormwater quality improvement devices) valued at over $3.9B (June 2013). His research interests include condition assessment of underground drainage systems including non-destructive and destructive tests and the establishment of the asset’s degradation curves. He has a BS degree in Civil Engineering (University of San Jose) and Master of Business Administration (Bond University). His career involved managing a construction company and providing consulting services in engineering surveys and road design while being based in Asia for 17 years. Edwin is an active officer of Engineers Australia Queensland – Gold Coast Regional Group and a Life Member of the Philippine Institute of Civil Engineers.
