Daniel Rhodes is a Senior Water Engineer at Ocean Protect and a Chartered Civil Engineer (RPEQ, CPEng) based in Queensland. He serves on the Stormwater Queensland committee, contributing to industry leadership and engagement through initiatives such as the $35 million Zero Litter to the Bay program.

 Before joining Ocean Protect, Dan spent nearly a decade with Henry & Hymas and Optimal Stormwater, gaining broad experience in stormwater design, asset management, and water quality improvement across NSW, the ACT, and QLD. His work includes WSUD asset auditing, design, implementation, management and rectification.

 At Ocean Protect, Dan focuses on practical, evidence-based stormwater treatment using technologies such as the StormFilter, UrbanPond, and OceanGuard systems. A former professional musician, he combines creativity, clear communication, and technical expertise to deliver solutions that protect waterways and enhance environmental outcomes.
