One Basin CRC
Bernadette Torresan
One Basin CRC
As the Regional Manager for One Basin CRC, I lead regional partnerships and collaborative projects that strengthen the resilience, sustainability, and economic vitality of communities across the Murray–Darling Basin.
I’m passionate about bringing industry, research, government, and community together to create real, long‑lasting impact.
In 2014, I founded GO Local, a movement dedicated to supporting Australian‑made products and empowering local retailers through events, publications, and creative campaigns—including the GO Fashion Show.
This work cemented my commitment to regional advocacy and community‑driven economic development.
I’ve also served as the Deputy Chair of the Albury Business Chamber, championing local business growth and strategic regional leadership. Beyond my professional roles, I’m committed to mentoring emerging leaders and supporting survivors of domestic violence and those facing mental health challenges.
My work spans industry, agriculture, social impact, and community wellbeing—because thriving communities are built when every sector is connected and every person is supported.
Always driven by purpose. Always championing regional voices. Always building stronger communities.
