Andrew McPhail

Andrew loves water. He is passionate about sea kayaking, swimming, beaches and being a Senior Principal Surface Water Engineer at Jacobs. For over 30 years Andrew has been identifying flooding constraints and preparing proposals to mitigate the impacts. He also desires to improve the waters we enjoy, preparing stormwater management plans and improvement measure designs, waterway stability assessment, remediation strategies and approvals compliance assessments. Andrew has worked throughout Australia, delivering solutions in various markets from green field subdivisions to major infrastructure projects (rail and road), to urban renewal, mine sites or renewable energy projects. As rainfall intensities increase and annual rainfall patterns change, we all will need to be adaptive in our flood mitigation solutions.
