Professor Samantha Capon is an ecologist specialising in the ecology and management of riverine and wetland landscapes, with particular expertise in dryland ecosystems. Her research focuses on informing water and land management practices to protect, enhance, and restore these critical environments, alongside work in climate change adaptation. A member of Griffith University’s School of Environment and Science and the Griffith Institute for Human and Environmental Resilience, Professor Capon is committed to conducting relevant, defensible, and equitable science to address pressing environmental challenges.
