Roger is Executive Officer of Western Murray Land Improvement Group, a Landcare organisation based in Barham NSW. He has worked in Landcare for 13 years on a range of natural resource management (NRM) and agriculture-based initiatives and manages a multidisciplinary team of seven staff supporting 13 other groups, engaging around 1,600 people per year in activities. He is passionate about building strong relationships and collaborating with stakeholders on programs that improve environmental and food production outcomes, the adaptive capacity of the community and community wealth building outcomes in general.
Roger has previously worked as a Regional Engagement Officer for the MDBA, a dairy manufacturing plant at Leitchville, Northern Victoria for 14 years, managing quality, food safety, food manufacturing, process improvement, wastewater treatment, irrigation re-use, and environmental systems management.
Roger is a 10-year plus member of the CEWO Edward – Kolety – Wakool Environmental Water Reference Group through iterations of long-term intervention monitoring and MER programs and the Koondrook Perricoota Alliance for 14 years, and Murray Landcare Collective.
