Emma Walker is a project manager at EnviroDNA and is currently completing an Honours degree in the School of Biological Sciences at Monash University, with a strong commitment to understanding and protecting ecosystems through scientific research and conservation. Her Honours research focuses on the impacts of the Black Summer bushfires on fish species diversity using Environmental DNA (eDNA). This work has sharpened her organisational and analytical skills, including project management, fieldwork planning, and data analysis.

With a deep passion for freshwater ecology and water management, Emma is eager to continue developing expertise in these fields. She is now seeking opportunities to apply her theoretical knowledge and practical experience to educate the broader community and contribute to a more sustainable future.
