Dan is a highly experienced environmental consultant based in Deniliquin, New South Wales, with a career spanning over two decades in environmental water management, natural resource and land management, and Aboriginal cultural heritage. As the Director of DOD Hutton Consulting, Dan provides specialist technical expertise and facilitates meaningful engagement between Indigenous communities, government agencies, and other stakeholders. His work includes environmental monitoring, GIS mapping, drone photography, cultural heritage management, and conflict resolution.
Dan is deeply committed to fostering sustainable ecological outcomes and advancing Indigenous cultural understanding. He has played a pivotal role in major initiatives such as the Koondrook-Perricoota Forest Flood Enhancement Project under The Living Murray program, where he coordinated Indigenous engagement and cultural heritage management.
