Dr. Anish Jantrania is a Professor and Extension Specialist in the Department of Biological and Agricultural Engineering at Texas A&M University, based in Temple, Texas. He holds degrees in Agricultural Engineering from the University of Udaipur, Ohio State University, and Clemson University, as well as an M.B.A. from West Virginia University. His expertise spans sustainable water infrastructure, wastewater treatment and reuse, desalination, and water economics. Over his career, Dr. Jantrania has made notable contributions to decentralized wastewater management, including co-authoring a textbook on advanced onsite wastewater technologies, managing the first National Onsite Demonstration Project funded by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, and leading regulatory revision efforts for onsite wastewater systems in Virginia.
