Adam Berry

Adam started his career in local government as a civil design/cadet engineer working across stormwater and road infrastructure projects getting a taste for the basics. Then moving into managing a Council area with very high flood risk including undertaking major structural mitigation projects, flood warning networks and implementing Australia’s first operational flash flood forecasting system.
In 2019, Adam started his own consultancy Synergy Solutions which focusses on flood modelling, flood risk management, disaster management and community awareness. With the mixing of his past operational and community focused roles and undertaking some of Australia’s largest technical flooding projects; he has come to realise the unique combination of both and the power that can bring to innovative solutions that work on the ground not just in theory.
