Background
The US Army Corps of Engineers, Hydrologic Engineering Center’s River Analysis System (HEC-RAS) is a software program primarily used for the computation of water surface profiles in steady and unsteady, gradually varied flow situations, sediment transport and water temperature/water quality modelling. It is recognised as an industry standard program and is widely used throughout the world.

The HEC-RAS Essentials is a 6-hour course designed for beginners to cover the essential background concepts for building, running, interpreting, and troubleshooting basic 1D and 2D models using HEC-RAS. You will receive 30 days to complete this course.
The HEC-RAS Masterclass is designed for users who have a basic understanding of HEC-RAS and are seeking to enhance their skills and knowledge.
This 16-hour course covers more comprehensive HEC-RAS modelling skills, including terrain modification, rain-on-grid modelling, selection of appropriate parameters, sensitivity analysis, and model calibration. You will receive 124 days to complete this course.
