ICE WaRM Captures Prestigious Industry Award

ICE WaRM has captured one of the five prestigious Water Industry Alliance (WIA) awards announced at a special lunch in the Adelaide Convention Centre on May 29.
This time, ICE WaRM was recognised for its Professional Development Programmes, winning the Proven Exporter category.
Judges acknowledged ICE WaRM as the leader in its field, highlighting the organisation’s development of its international markets in building and leveraging sustainable relationships.Entries were judged by three prominent industry executives: Lambros Siamos – Past President of the Civil Contractors Federation of Western Australia and General Manager of Infrastructure with the Georgiou Group, David Chester – Industry Development Manager with Irrigation Australia and Bruce Williams – General Manager of City Projects with the City of Onkaparinga.
This is the latest in a series of awards for ICE WaRM, which has won widespread recognition for its groundbreaking nested Master of Water Resources Management programme and also earned the Business/Higher Education Round Table’s Award for Outstanding International Collaboration in Education and Training for its initial Professional Development Programme with China’s Yellow River Conservancy Commission.
The WIA includes more than 185 South Australian-based businesses and related organisations – international water companies, national firms and well established local companies. They offer cutting edge technology and extensive manufacturing expertise, employing a highly skilled workforce in the production of equipment for the water industry. Products and services range from state-of-the-art control systems to pipes, fittings, valves and screens.
